20. Sing John Denver at West Virginia

The John Denver song, Take Me Home, Country Roads is played before every West Virginia Mountaineers home game since 1972 and has since been the school’s theme song.

After every home win, the fans, team, and coaches all sing the song together as thousands and thousands of Mountaineer fans belt the lyrics to one of the most recognizable songs of all-time.

Even if you aren’t a WVU fan it’s hard not to get choked up and join in the chorus of a beautiful song such as this. It’s truly a unifying experience for anyone in attendance and will have you leaving the stadium with a whistle and a smile.

Almost heaven, West Virginia.
