Virginia Tech. Scouting Report. CB. 4. player. 44. Pick Analysis. Caleb Farley

The Atlanta Falcons could have some talent and depth issues in their secondary post-free agency and while they could go several different ways here, I think they get Caleb Farley out of Virginia Tech. He not only brings size but physicality when he steps out on the field. Farley will be the guy who can follow an opponent’s No. 1 receiver all game long and keep him a non-factor with his shutdown abilities.

OL. player. 56. Scouting Report. Northwestern. Rashawn Slater. 5. Pick Analysis

Before suffering a torn ACL, Joe Burrow was having a stellar rookie season. The Bengals have plenty of wholes that need to be filled but priority number one is keeping their quarterback from going back on the injury report and picking Rashawn Slater, an offensive lineman out of Northwestern is the most sensible pick. From the snap of the ball, Slater possesses quickness and balance to be able to handle the best of edge rushers that teams can throw at him.

WR. Devonta Smith. 54. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. player. Alabama. 6

Let’s be honest, the Eagles were a mess on offense. While there is plenty of blame to go around, the biggest concern was the lack of explosiveness at the wide receiver position. It seemed as if every throw was to a short or mid-ranged route, and because of lack of separation, there always seemed to be a tightly contested throw. The only right choice here for the Eagles is to draft Heisman Trophy winner and national champion, DeVonta Smith, and if the accolades do not speak for themselves, just go watch one game of film and you’ll know.
