2. The Vast Selection of Sideline Reporters

One underrated aspect of the NCAA College Football games that was first introduced in the 2010 edition was the use of sideline reporters. The first sideline reporter to be used for the NCAA College Football games was ESPN’s Erin Andrews in the NCAA Football 10 game that was released for the X-Box 360, PlayStation 3, PSP, and the PlayStation 2 on July 14th, 2009.

Sidelines reporters have become one of the biggest structures of sports broadcasting especially in the sport of College Football. Several sideline reporters could be included in the game just like television studios and commentary crews.

On the ESPN format of sideline reporters, there are plenty of personalities to include. The sideline reporter that is apart of the main ESPN broadcast team with Fowler and Herbstreit is Mariah Taylor. Another longtime sideline reporter that has become of College Football’s most recognizable figure is Holly Rowe. Other sideline reporters for ESPN include Marty Smith, Allison Williams, Cole Cubelic, Todd McShay, Molly McGrath, and Laura Rutledge.

Other noticeable sideline reporters outside of the ESPN family include Fox Sports sidelines reporter Jenny Taft, CBS Sports sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson, CBS Sports sideline report Allie LaForce, CBS Sports sideline Melanie Collins.

One of the most famous current College Football sideline reporter, who recently made the move from ESPN to Fox Sports, is Tom Rinaldi. With several sideline reporters that have created themselves as a sole journalist, there could be a feature in the game where the sideline reporter can be a separate reporter to pick from.
