8. Avante Dickerson, 4-star CB (No. 122) — Oregon

National Signing Day could be really good for the Ducks, who landed one of the best running backs in the late signing period too.

On the other side of things, it’s not going to be a good day for Nebraska football if these predictions wind up being true, because even though Dickerson is from Omaha, it feels like he’s headed to the West Coast.

Dickerson was committed to Minnesota and when he decommitted, Nebraska seemed like a strong bet. Yet, the Ducks offer changed everything and unless things change drastically, the Huskers will get their hearts broken again.

7. Destyn Hill, 4-star WR (No. 113) — Florida State

It’s been a tough year for Florida State football, there’s no question about that and it shows in the recruiting rankings right now as the Seminoles are just 30th in the 247 team rankings.

While National Signing Day won’t drastically change that, Florida State is expected to add Destyn Hill out of New Orleans and the 6-foot, 200 pounder would be a nice addition to the class.

Other programs are still in the mix but Alabama has four receivers committed already and LSU, another team listed as “warm” on his 247 sports profile, could be adding another four-star wideout, so the Noles should be able to nab Hill, although nothing is a given in recruiting.
