It was just announced that we will be seeing an EA Sports College Football game and these three features have to be in the newest rendition of the game.

After EA Sports announced the revival of the College Football franchise, many fans were excited. Although there is no announced release date and many questions about the “look” of the game remain, the gaming world’s anticipation is palpable.

The game’s features were as significant to the game as the gameplay itself.

Here’s what EA Sports College Football modes need to be kept by the developers in order to keep fans happy and wanting more year after year.

1. Dynasty mode

It goes without saying the new game will feature dynasty mode. This was one of the best game features ever added to the game. With dynasty mode, a player can take over a college football powerhouse or take an also-ran program right to the national championship.

Within dynasty mode, you can recruit players from all over the country before the season is offseason workouts to improve a players’ rating and the spring game.

Also, in dynasty mode, you can decide to stay with your school or take an offer to a bigger program. If you want to take that journey from a small Group of Five to the Power Five, that is an option while coaching.

Dynasty mode is definitely a must-have for the new game.

2. Hall of records

The hall of records is something the game has to keep as well. Not only are your various trophies archived, but so are your accomplishments. On the 2009 edition of the game, the classic game rating was added. Also, a player could photo a highlight, and the photograph would be kept in the hall of records. The record room kept program, individual, single-game, season and career records.

3. Alternate uniforms and mascot game

This game feature is all about Oregon. Seriously though, one of the more entertaining aspects of the game is the ability to wear your favorite team’s alternate uniforms.

Some traditional teams like USC, Texas and Alabama don’t have alternate uniforms. However, others do. You could wear Georgia’s black jerseys or Notre Dame’s green jersey with their mascot on the helmet. How many games would you have to play to cycle through all of Oregon’s alternate jerseys anyway?

The mascot game is a fun way to represent your favorite team in an exhibition playing with friends either in person or online. What is most fun is the mascots have the player ratings of the school they represent. Imagine playing with Alabama and having Big Al running as fast as DeVonta Smith or Clemson’s mascot throwing like Trevor Lawrence.
