In the final game in October and before their bye week, Oklahoma will face off against Texas Tech and hope to keep their undefeated season alive. The Red Raiders have not had the success they had hoped for when they hired Matt Wells from Utah State. After nearly firing Wells last season, they made some staff changes and hope to get back to a bowl game this season in Lubbock.

I don’t have a lot of confidence or good feelings about the direction that the program is heading. I think that Oklahoma should be able to get the win at home and head into the bye week looking to prepare for the most important stretch of the season.

Final Score: Oklahoma 48, Texas Tech 23 (9-0, 6-0 Big 12)

Baylor Bears. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Nov 13. Waco (TX). 10. player. 860

After their bye week, Oklahoma will go on the road and face Baylor, who is hoping to have a big season in Dave Aranda’s second season at the helm. Baylor will be with a new starting quarterback for the first time in a few seasons after Charlie Brewer decided to transfer to Utah. The Bears’ offense was a disappointment last season and will need to bounce back if the Bears want to go to a bowl game.

I think that Dave Aranda is a good coach and should get the Baylor program playing some solid football, but there are too many question marks on the offensive side of the ball for me to predict them to upset a team like Oklahoma. Expect another Sooners victory over Baylor.

Final Score: Oklahoma 41, Baylor 24 (10-0, 7-0 Big 12)
