After a disappointing loss to Miami in their rivalry game, Florida State will have two straight games on the road to end the season. They will need to win one of the last two games for them to get bowl eligible, which would be a step in the right direction.

Boston College was a big surprise last season under first-year head coach Jeff Hafley and many will expect the Eagles to take a step forward this season. I think the offense will still be pretty tough with quarterback Phil Jurkovec returning but the defense will need to play better.

I think this is another coin flip game for the Seminoles. Chestnut Hill is a tough place to play, but I think that Florida State will go there with a sense of desperation and get a win.

Final Score: Florida State 32, Boston College 27 (6-5, 4-4 ACC)

Pick Analysis. Nov 27. Gainesville (FL). 12. Scouting Report. Florida Gators. player. 840

After a big win vs Boston College, Florida State will have their season finale vs their biggest rival, Florida. This game was one of the non-conference casualties of last season and it is one of the most heated rivalries when both teams have a lot to play for. This game has not been competitive for a few years and this year could be more of the same with how these two programs are at the moment.

Florida’s offense may not be as potent as last years, but the Gators will still have plenty of firepower with transfers like DeMarkus Bowman and Arik Gilbert coming in. Emory Jones still has a lot to prove as a passer, but I think under the tutelage of Dan Mullen, Jones will be just fine. I think the coaching and talent gap is too big right now for the Seminoles to realistically get a win over the Gators, but it is a rivalry game so anything is possible.

Final Score: Florida State 17, Florida 35 (6-6, 4-4 ACC)
