Can Iowa State defeat Oklahoma twice?

The short answer is no. The Sooners have owned the Big 12 conference winning its sixth consecutive title this past season. In the 25 seasons of the conference, Oklahoma has won 14 conference titles.

This season, it seems as if the conference championship goes through the Sooners once again. Last season was the time to upset Oklahoma.

Spencer Rattler was a first-year starter at quarterback. The Sooners’ two best players, Rhamondre Steveson and Ronnie Perkins, were suspended multiple games.

After suffering two early losses, one to Iowa State, the Sooners won nine games in a row, including blowing out Florida in the Cotton Bowl. This season promises to be even better for Oklahoma. What is Iowa State’s counter? The Cyclones need more firepower.
