3. Battle at cornerback

Alabama had one of the best secondaries in the country last season and while they will be talented there once again, there are questions about who will replace Patrick Surtain II.

On one side of the field there will be Josh Jobe, who finally had his breakout season for the Crimson Tide last fall. Jobe should be one of the best corners in the country this season, but who is starting on the other side is the storyline to watch.

I think the guy that will get the first crack at the job will be Jalyn Armour Davis. He is a very talented guy, but he has not been able to flash enough to be a consistent contributor. Another guy that will be in the mix for the job will be Ronald Williams Jr. who should be able to push Davis and I would bet that one of those two guys will be starting come fall.

Every other position on defense appears to be stacked, so figuring out the situation at corner will be the first priority for Alabama on defense this fall.
