Games 1-4

Akron: Win

Even if Bryan Harsin completely and utterly flops in his first year as the Auburn HC, there will be no struggle for the Tigers here. 48-7 would be an appropriate estimate for the final tally in this one.

Alabama State: Win

Who knew that adding the word “state” to a football team’s name could change it from being one of the toughest opponents in college football to one of the easiest? The Tigers will probably be hoping to hit personal records for yards and scores in a single game against the Hornets on September 11th.

Penn State: Loss

Home games versus Akron and Alabama State are not particularly adequate preparations for taking on the Penn State Nittany Lions in the notorious Beaver Stadium. Auburn is certain to be outcoached in a competitive battle, earning them their first defeat of the season.

Georgia State: Win

The Panthers of Georgia State will help the Tigers build back some confidence before heading into their SEC slate. In other words, Auburn taking the dub by 40 or so points would turn absolutely zero heads.
