Games 1-4

Indiana: Win

Now as previously established, the Hoosiers had a surprisingly strong showing in 2020. However, they still left a lot to be desired (especially after falling to an allegedly inferior Ole Miss in the Outback Bowl). The game is in Iowa, and it is the first matchup of the season for both teams. Iowa gets a two-score victory to begin their 2021 run. 26-14 would be an accurate prediction for the final tally.

Iowa State: Loss

It sucks that Iowa could lose so early in their slate, but it is hard to imagine them coming out of this one on top. The Cyclones have become a team that everyone can root for, and they will be hosting the Hawkeyes in just their second game since their historic Fiesta Bowl victory last season.

Kent State: Win

Every team needs a frustration game, one to let off some steam in following a painful loss the week prior. The Golden Flashes will be the ones taking that dive for Iowa in Week 3. The Hawkeyes winning by at least 30 should be a promise.

Colorado State: Win

Colorado State is like Kent State, but just a little better. As a result, Iowa will roll right past them as well, but by just a little less. CSU will score some points, but should still expect to fall to the Hawkeyes by a margin of around 24 or so.
