Can weapons emerge?

In Thomas Fidone, the Nebraska football team and head coach Scott Frost are getting a truly elite tight end. Fidone is 6-foot-5 and he’s a guy who can cause mismatches all over the field.

That’s what Nebraska football needs from him right away, especially with the transfer of Wan’Dale Robinson. The top-100 recruit is enrolled early and take part in spring ball, which will be huge for his rapport with Martinez.

The Huskers need others to get comfortable too, such as incoming graduate transfer Samori Toure, who is coming to Lincoln from Montana.

Toure isn’t a big name yet, but he has big-time potential and excels at getting deep. Zavier Betts also has a chance to emerge after a solid freshman season and watching how all these guys progress with Martinez will be fun to watch.
