Games 1-4

Ole Miss: Win

The Rebels will surely improve now that they are under the lead of the experienced Lane Kiffin. However, the opening game of only his second season coaching the team will not depict that very well, as anyone could probably assume.

The match will unfold on a neutral site (Atlanta, GA), and the Cardinals will begin 2021 with a well-fought statement win.

Eastern Kentucky: Win

Louisville probably thinks that scheduling such an inferior foe is justified considering that both teams share the state of Kentucky. Hopefully, after beating down the Colonels 59-10 they will be able to accept how asinine that mindset truly is.

Central Florida: Win

Back to out-of-conference games that hold some merit, we have the UCF meeting. A strong Group of 5 adversary, the Knights will certainly quarrel a good deal with the Cards. But Louisville is at home, and is more familiar with bigger and better opposition. Sorry champs, you fall to the measly Cardinals.

Florida State: Win

A simplistic entrance to Louisville’s conference schedule that would have been the exact opposite just five years ago, the Cards have to visit Tallahassee to face the Florida State Seminoles.

FSU showed virtually no signs of improvement at the end of their 2020 run, and Louisville cooked them alive then. So by that logic, their upcoming match with the Noles should be no different.

However, the game is on the road, and FSU head coach Mike Norvell will be in his second year with the team, not his first. With that said, the game will be more interesting, but only by so much. Louisville still gets a convincing dub in Doak Campbell Stadium for 2021.
