Games 9-12

Clemson: Loss

The no-brainer of the conference schedule has officially arrived. The Clemson Tigers without star quarterback Trevor Lawrence are still the Clemson Tigers. Louisville will take this defeat hard, most likely because it will be decided by over 30 points, and because it will consequently kick them out of the race for the ACC Atlantic crown.

Syracuse: Win

The drop in competitiveness between Clemson and Syracuse is so large that the Cardinals will be lucky not to get vertigo. Louisville will be at home for the second week in a row and the crowd will explode as their Cards roll right past the Orange.

Duke: Win

Imagine the Syracuse game from the week prior, and put it in Durham, North Carolina. Different opponent, different location, but same result for Louisville.

Kentucky: Loss

In the same strange fashion that is usually seen between these two rivals, Kentucky will down the Cardinals when they are least expected to. The Wildcats are worse than Louisville on paper, and the latter will be hosting, but Kentucky will pull off the upset regardless. It may sound ridiculous, but you can take that up with the 2016 Cards before you get back to me.

dark. Next. USC Football: Way too early 2021 game predictions

The Louisville Cardinals will finish their 2021 regular season stretch with a strong 8-4 record and subsequently find themselves high in the ACC power rankings. They will make a bowl game of decent but not elite standards and have their eyes sturdily set on 2022.
