#14: Tennessee Volunteers

Tennessee was not an easy choice to slap on this list as the worst SEC football uniform. In all honesty, the crown for worst appearance came down between the Volunteers and the Crimson Tide of Alabama.

My reasoning for giving the Tide the benefit of the doubt was the traditional factor, as I could not personally decide which one I preferred by overall visual attraction. I will give Tennessee credit though, for having a more unique and, quite frankly, original color which has, too, become traditional.

The driving force that hurts Tennessee is looking rather boring, which is typically the biggest flaw with traditional fits. At least Bama possesses a look that has popularized the industry to a sizable degree (something we will talk about in just a little bit).

So to put things simply, the Volunteers do not have a “bad” uniform. It is merely the least appealing of the SEC football bunch in my personal opinion. Sometimes, traditional is just a tad too traditional.
