Ranking all Big 12 football uniforms worst to first
By Austin Lloyd
10. Texas Longhorns
I can hear some readers sharpening their pitchforks already, but if this bugs you, it’s going to be a long list.
As the case usually is on these types of rankings, last place does not mean “bad.” The Longhorns merely have the least exciting or perhaps most boring uniform in their conference. But with that in mind, it is safe to say that the Big 12 has some spectacular designs in their apparel department, because there is virtually nothing but positive observations to make about the Texas fit.
The white helmet with the iconic burnt orange longhorn head on the sides combined with the huge numbers on the back is purely stunning, and the jersey design has remained very traditional as well.
The one downside, if any, would be how heavy the reliance on white in the home uniforms actually is, especially considering that every away game is basically a white-out match for Texas. But nonetheless, an all-around great look for the “worst” team in these rankings.
