Ranking all Pac-12 football uniforms from worst to first
By Austin Lloyd
12. Oregon Ducks
And just like that, many have clicked off of this list. However, what I say is true nonetheless. The Ducks have introduced just under a million shades of green and yellow, and have just as many combinations of the two colors. Rarely does it look good in regards to the color balance and the official Oregon color scheme. And there has been some heavy chrome usage in recent years. What is that all about?
11. Arizona Wildcats
Arizona, too, is one of the several Pac-12 teams that love to mix it up on a consistent basis when it comes to their uniforms. Of all of their home fits that I inspected, only one looked good enough to spare them from 11th place, and that is just not enough. The visually painful helmets, the quill-written fonts, and the lack of color balance are all too frequent to save the Wildcats here.
10. USC Trojans
This is the first uniform that I can’t really criticize too much. It is strictly traditional, and has a nice color balance. The gray facemasks also pay homage to the old-fashioned look that USC always tries to showcase. I suppose it’s just a tad too boring, with a less likable color scheme than most if not all of the fits above it. But the takeaway here is that the Trojans truly do have a solid style.
