1. Oregon State Beavers

Black and orange is such a menacing color scheme that it is truly surprising that so little programs practice it. The blackout look for a home fit is such an awesome concept that one should only hope that the Beavers can improve their quality of play to match their visual appeal.

The font is one that we as football fans have seen before, where particular corners are squared off while the others are left untouched. This format is kind of dumb, but to me it isn’t a deal-breaker.

Meanwhile, the layout of the stripes on the shoulders appear slightly strange, but their intention to match the design on the pants is clear. And it should also be noted that while Jermar Jefferson‘s (No. 6  photographed above) leg has the same shade of orange as the rest of the uniform, despite the illusion from lighting.

My one and only true complaint is how the crown of the helmet dawns a single orange stripe with no inclusion of white, which contradicts the visuals of the rest of the fit. Outside of that, though, there is nothing to criticize about the Beavers’ look. As a result, they have the best uniform in the entire Pac-12.
