Big Ten Conference

Add: Cincinnati Bearcats

The Bearcats have looked like they could be the best Group of 5 program in recent memory, so they would certainly be capable of stealing some wins amongst Big Ten competition, at least after a while.

In terms of geography, they are located in Cincinnati, Ohio, which could also be referred to as the center of the conference’s triad of toughest teams (Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State).

Remove: Rutgers Scarlet Knights

When stuck between Maryland and Rutgers, I chose to take a look at who had more experience facing their fellow Big Ten universities, since both squads have sucked for several years.

Oddly enough, both teams have a true history with only one conference foe, and that is Penn State. Upon learning this, I figured that whoever had more meetings versus the Nittany Lions all-time would be the ones to stay in the Power 5, and that turned out to be the Terrapins.
