4. Wake Forest Demon Deacons

Clemson will host the Deacs on Nov. 20, between their home game against Connecticut and their rivalry game with South Carolina on the road. The valley between those two types of matchups can give off some strong upset vibes.

Wake Forest showed much promise last season (especially by their standards), and is bound to fight the Tigers better than most would probably assume. Them being ranked on this list, however, should nonetheless serve as an implication of just how lackluster Clemson’s 2021 schedule actually is by face value.

3. Florida State Seminoles

This one mainly comes down to whether or not FSU can put their talents to good use on the gridiron. Transfer quarterback McKenzie Milton, combined with head coach Mike Norvell in his second season with the program and the recruits that the Seminoles have been reeling in as of recently, should be no easy victory whatsoever. If they play their cards right, that is.

Clemson has taken total advantage of Florida State’s downfall over the past four or so years; now is as good of a time for some payback as any.
