2. Florida Gators

Moving right along with the topic of offensive SEC teams, we have the Gators.

Florida was the sole opponent that appeared to have Alabama on their heels after four quarters last season, and considering all of the attrition that comes to play for a chain-moving mastermind like head coach Dan Mullen on an annual basis, something tells me that such an affair is likely to unfold once again this September.

And remember, the game is in Gainesville, serving as the Tide’s first true road game of 2021. Upset alert to the max for this one.

1. Miami Hurricanes

The uncertainty of this game mainly stems from just how foreign everything about Miami is to Alabama. The two squads rarely play (their last run-in with one another was the 1993 title game) and promising Hurricanes head coach Manny Diaz is still very new on the scene, which means that Nick Saban can only be so familiar with how he runs his team in totality.

As previously established, this meeting will be the season-opening games for both schools and will take place at a neutral site. And along with all of the other teams on this list, the recruiting haul has been top-notch for Miami as of late.

If the Hurricanes are ever going to beat Alabama again, 2021 would be their year to do so.
