Pick Analysis. S. 3. 26. player. Scouting Report. Florida State. Hamsah Nasirildeen

Like Marvin Wilson, Hamsah Nasirildeen was thought to be a first-round prospect heading into the 2020 season. After a down year, it is an unknown where Nasirildeen will land, even in what is perceived to be a down year when it comes to wanting to draft a safety.

Nasirildeen has really good size for a safety at 6-foot-3, 215 pounds, and is an imposing presence in the back end of a defense. Where he struggles is in coverage.

At the Senior Bowl, Nasirildeen struggled in man coverage and showed a lack of burst and quickness, which is not what you want out of a starting safety in the NFL.

A team that should be looking for a safety at some point in the draft would be the Baltimore Ravens.

After releasing Earl Thomas last season, the Ravens have been searching for someone to step in. I think that Nasirildeen’s physicality would fit well on the team and he should be there in that third to fourth-round range for the Ravens to scoop him up and plug him into a special teams role to start.
