LB. Chazz Surratt. player. 16. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. North Carolina. 4

A converted quarterback, Chazz Surratt is one of the more interesting linebacker prospects in this year’s draft. After starting some games for North Carolina football at QB, Surratt made his transition to the other side of the ball and instantly became a leader for the defense.

Surratt might be a little slight for the position at 6’2 228 LBS, but his athleticism and speed to track down ball carriers and receivers quickly is what makes him such an intriguing prospect.

This past season, Surratt totaled 91 tackles, six sacks, and an interception. Surratt was an exceptional blitzer and that will be utilized well at the next level.

Surratt has the potential to be a steal at his position. This linebacker class seems to be top-heavy and it can be hard to project where the others land.

The Buffalo Bills are a team that could look to add to their linebacker room. Surratt would give this defense some added athleticism and a key blitzer on third downs.
