Another prospect that disappointed for the Buckeyes this season was cornerback Shaun Wade. Wade was thought to be a first-round talent heading into the season, but game after game, Wade was getting torched by the opponent’s best receiver.

In games vs Indiana, Clemson, and Alabama, Wade was getting targeted by the opposing offense frequently. That has led to a lot of doubt about where Wade will end. I still think that Wade has talent and can help a team out in the secondary because he is a good athlete with speed.

I think a team that will look for secondary help at some point in this draft will be the New York Giants. New York had a solid defense last season, but one weakness was at the cornerback position. After signing Adoree Jackson in free agency, I think getting a talented corner like Wade in the fourth or fifth round could give the Giants some solid depth at the position.
