1. Chicago Bears

Of all the teams out there right now, the Chicago Bears and Ian Book seem like a perfect match.

Just a few years ago, the Bears traded up and drafted quarterback Mitch Trubisky. I do not really need to go into that because we all know how that ended up working out.

Drafting Book on Day 3 would be a great selection for the Chicago Bears. Some might be asking why it would be a perfect fit right about now. Well, it is no secret that the Bears are not a quarterback away from winning the Super Bowl. Getting a quarterback that maybe you can build around later in the draft allows you to focus on other team needs on day one, and day two of the draft.

Living in Chicago, all you hear about from fans on sports talk radio is them wanting the Bears to trade up and trade more draft capital to try and get one of the hotter named quarterbacks in the first round. As seen with Mitch Trubisky just a few years ago, drafting a quarterback in the first round does not always end up working out.

The Bears currently have veteran quarterbacks in Andy Dalton, and Nick Foles on the roster. Neither are long-term options in Chicago under center. Some experts and fans say that Chicago is where quarterbacks come to die.

Maybe, just maybe if the Bears kick the tires and select Ian Book this year in the draft he can help change that philosophy for the Bears franchise.
