One of the most interesting prospects in the draft this year is Penn State edge rusher Jayson Oweh.

Oweh is one of the most impressive players physically and athletically that you are going to find in this year’s draft, but the one thing that is missing from the prospects draft profile is actual production rushing the passer.

At 6’5 252 LBS, Oweh has all of the tools physically to succeed, but why does he only have seven career sacks, with zero last season for Penn State? Oweh is super talented, but it could be tough for teams to use a first-round pick on a player with little production.

It is tough to project players like these because, with their talent level, it is easy to see a team falling in love with him in the first round and convincing themselves that they can get the most out of them.

I think that Oweh will slip into the second round and be coveted by a number of teams. The Arizona Cardinals are a team that could be a great fit for Oweh. While they already have Chandler Jones and recently signed JJ Watt, yet those guys are not getting any younger, and sitting behind them and just being a situational pass rusher in year one could benefit a talented, but a raw player like Oweh.

Projection: 49th to the Arizona Cardinals
