Scouting Report. EDGE. Michigan. 31. Pick Analysis. Kwity Paye. 11. player

The Giants could follow suit with their NFC East rivals and take a cornerback, but I think they’d be better off drafting an edge rusher to help that defensive front.

Kwity Paye will be the best edge rusher available after dominating for the past few seasons at Michigan. Even when the defense was disappointing in 2020, Paye was a star, recording 16 total tackles, four tackles for loss, and two sacks in just four games. That followed up his breakout season in 2019.

In fact, in 2019, he finished with a career-best 50 tackles with 12.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks as he was a menace off the edge.

With the way the draft is ordered, I could see Paye ending up somewhere in the NFC East as the Giants make a lot of sense here.

A 6-foot-4, 260-pound athletic end is going to wreak some havoc at the next level and Paye has barely even scratched the surface.
