Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Rondale Moore. player. 46. WR. Purdue. 21

One pick after watching fellow Big Ten receiver Rashod Bateman go, Rondale Moore will be the pick for the Colts, staying home in Indiana.

After playing three years down the road at Purdue, the former All-American will suit up for the Colts and give Carson Wentz a valuable option to throw to in the passing game. TY Hilton, Michael Pittman, and Parris Campbell make up the starting receiving corps, but add Moore to the mix and there’s finally depth.

A young offense with Wentz at quarterback, Moore, Campbell and Pittman at receiver, and Jonathan Taylor at running back could spell success in the near future.

The Colts may not be close to Super Bowl contention, but adding another piece to a growing offense would be key and Moore could be a superstar in the league.

Injury issues might scare Indianapolis away here, but when he’s healthy, the sky is the limit. Just look at his freshman season when he caught 114 passes for 1,258 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Wentz would be very happy with this pick.
