LB. Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah. 28. player. Pick Analysis. Notre Dame. 15. Scouting Report

Just missing out on Zaven Collins and being about nine picks late for Caleb Farley, the Saints will have to “settle” for another need which is at linebacker.

New Orleans needs an edge rusher, receiver (which could happen here), cornerback, safety, and interior defensive lineman. I could see the Saints realistically addressing the edge, receiver, or cornerback here but linebacker would make sense with Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah still on the board.

Owusu-Koramoah had a breakout season in 2019 with 80 tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, and 5.5 sacks to go along with four pass breakups and two forced fumbles and picked right up where he left off in 2020. In fact, he had 62 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, an interception, three pass deflections, a touchdown, and three forced fumbles.

This dude is a stat-sheet stuffer and could be a star in the Saints’ defense. Will they go linebacker here or more flash with receiver or cornerback?
