Glass had a big second half to lead the Bulldogs to victory.

Glass has had a great three games. He’s had the spotlight all to himself and has shined. Arkansas-Pine Bluff had a good game plan for the St. Louis signal-caller and his talented group of receivers, but Glass and company did what they do best, throw bombs.

One could argue that Alabama A&M’s offense is not built for efficiency, but it is hard to stop when they get hot. The critical adjustment head coach Connell Maynor and the offensive staff made was taking advantage of the Lions playing the pass aggressively.

As the run game kept the Lions honest, Glass began to find his rhythm and beat UAPB’s man coverage. Pine-Bluff attempted to adjust by playing their safeties over the top, but Maynor and Glass started to see the tight end in the middle of the field.

At one point in the game, Glass was 11/23 and would go 13/21 the rest of the game. The Golden Lions were outstanding, pressuring Glass and forcing the ball out, throwing off timing with receivers.

Glass hung in the pocket and made plays running the football, forcing the defense to adjust, which they could not do in the second half.
