10. Qwynnterrio Cole, S, Alcorn St. (Unsigned)

Cole is a case of out of sight, out of mind. The Alcorn State standout was the best safety in FCS in 2018 and 2019. Cole anchored a defense that led the Braves to consecutive Celebration Bowl appearances and SWAC titles.

Cole led Alcorn State in interceptions (five) in 2019 and had three interceptions in 2018. The most striking aspect of Cole’s film is that he is always around the ball. The excellent ball skills come from playing some offense in high school and being a standout high school basketball player.

Just because Cole can turn the football over does not mean he is not physical. In addition to having a nose for the football, Cole is a thumper who can bring running backs in the run game and is comfortable in the box.

Cole has a ready-made NFL build at 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds. Scouts have to love the football IQ, and versatility Cole brings to the table. Alcorn State defensive coordinator Cedric Thompson used Cole all over the defense.

As the deep safety, Cole is the quarterback of the defense, and his film demonstrates that he can absorb a playbook and execute what is asked of him. Though he has not been signed as of yet, Cole could get a call after rookie camp.
