9. at Florida State (W)

This is another go-either-way game for the Wolfpack on paper, as the Seminoles are bound for improvement in head coach Mike Norvell’s second year orchestrating the team, and Doak has never been a particularly fun place to visit. But the ‘Noles have lost three of their last four meetings with NC State, and the latter will be coming off of an inspiring victory over Louisville. If FSU is caught at a bad enough moment, this one might not even be close.

10. at Wake Forest (W)

Going on the road to face a rival after an excruciating stretch of games is never any good, but NC State will still manage to come out of Winston-Salem on top, as Wake seemingly only has enough weaponry to compete in this game, not win it.

11. vs. Syracuse (W)

This one should be as clear as day. The Wolfpack will be back home after two physically-taxing away games, all just to face the worst team in the ACC. If the final tally is decided by anything less than three scores, the Pack will be the ones left with egg on their faces, not the Orange.

12. vs. North Carolina (W)

All of the fighting, all of the winning, was for this crowning moment: NC State will topple the Tar Heels. Carter-Finley will be absolutely roaring, and the Wolfpack will be on a four-game winning streak following their prep game against Syracuse. North Carolina, with its superior talents, will be numerically favored.

As a result, they will blatantly overlook their main football rival. The game will still be extremely competitive, but the Pack will get the edge when it is all said and done.

At the end of their regular-season slate, the North Carolina State Wolfpack will enter an esteemed bowl game with a 9-3 record, cementing themselves as a top ACC power by the finale of the 2021 season.
