Garrett Wilson – Wide Receiver

The Buckeyes have a diverse and talented receiver group as they will be highly efficient playmakers for their new starting quarterback in 2021. The other talented and elite Buckeyes receiver for the upcoming 2021 season is junior wide receiver, Garrett Wilson.

With Olave being a solid route runner, the Buckeyes have one of the best catchers in College Football in Wilson.

He is one of the most consistent receivers in the nation with smooth and reliable hands and solid body control. Wilson has accumulated 73 receptions for 1,155 yards and 11 touchdowns in the two years playing for Ohio State football.

This past season, he caught 43 receptions for 723 yards and six touchdowns as he was voted a first-team All-Big Ten selection.

Sporting News has Wilson ranked as the 13th best prospect overall and like Olave, Wilson has a chance to boost his Draft stock more this season.

Zach Harrison – Defensive End

The edge rusher position has been one of the well-established developed positions the Buckeyes have developed for the past several NFL Drafts. The Buckeyes have had three defensive ends selected within the top three picks in the last six NFL drafts including two of the last three Drafts.

Ohio State football could have another high-caliber edge rusher in junior Zach Harrison.

Harrison has a high-motor to get around the offensive tackle and chase after the ball carrier. He also displays strong patience and a great mix of speed and strength, so he can play the edge and inside.

In the two seasons at Ohio State, Harrison accumulated 38 total tackles, 20 solo tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, two pass deflections, and one fumble recovery. This past season, Harrison accounted for 14 total tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, two pass deflections, and one fumble recovery. He was named a second-team All-Big Ten selection this past season.

This 2021 NFL Draft was not the best class for edge rushers as the 2022 NFL Draft class, which includes Harrison, is expected to be better.
