Michigan Football: 3 post-spring 2021 transfer portal targets
Originally, I had Alabama’s Brandon Turnage in this spot because he was once a Michigan target and the Wolverines could use all the defensive back help they can get. And then Turnage committed to Georgia on Saturday.
So then I looked at former five-star defensive back Tyreke Johnson from Ohio State but the chances of a Buckeye going to Ann Arbor to finish his college career are slim.
Jordan Moore just made the most sense of the remaining defensive backs on the market. Sure, it would be fantastic to land a cornerback like Derion Kendrick, but that just doesn’t seem likely and Moore seems the most reasonable of the top targets on the market.
The former Texas A&M safety who transferred to Houston and he had 26 total tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and two pass breakups in nine career games there.
Moore would be an immediate upgrade at safety for the Wolverines and he was recruited by Jim Harbaugh in high school in Yoakum, Texas. The two could unite finally and Moore would be an immediate starter in this secondary.
