Clemson Tigers: Brian Dawkins, S

Upon taking a look at who all Clemson has had grace both their school and the NFL over the years, there was really no other choice for this one than the incomparable Brian Dawkins.

A nine-time Pro Bowler who is best remembered for his time with the Philadelphia Eagles, Dawkins was known for his unmatched drive and intensity on the field, as whoever he was facing never wanted any part of his defensive scheme.

As far as how he fared at the school we’re actually talking about, Dawkins saw his best year in 1995, as both an All-American and All-ACC selection; this display led to him being the 61st overall pick in the 1996 draft.

Obviously, while his college years treated him well, they were no match for all that he unleashed at the professional level. However, I think it is pretty obvious which one ultimately mattered more in terms of his legacy.
