OL. Wyatt Milum. player. Scouting Report. 5. 877. Pick Analysis. Freshman

Rarely do freshmen start for West Virginia along the offensive line, but it’s becoming a bit of a habit under Neal Brown. Brandon Yates took over at left tackle last season during his redshirt freshman campaign, and true freshman Zach Frazier joined him, splitting time between center and guard. Will Wyatt Milum follow the trend?

The consensus No. 1 recruit out of West Virginia, Milum was a four-star prospect and Brown’s highest-rated recruit from the 2021 class. The 6-foot-7 Milum played for head coach Brad Dingess at Spring Valley High School and will likely compete for snaps at right tackle.

The Mountaineers are building a strong foundation up front with Yates, James Gmiter, Frazier, and Doug Nester. If Milum impresses, he could land the starting right tackle job to fill out the offensive line for West Virginia. Even in a lesser role, though, as a backup or even in spot-duty, Milum could have a positive impact.
