4-star athlete Jaden Mangham

Previous head coach Paul Johnson had incredible success with the Yellow Jackets but a new staff meant a transition had to take place and it has caused some major changes. Back in 2018, Georgia Tech averaged nine pass attempts per game.

Last season, that number grew to 28 per game, but the quarterback play hasn’t been great. The Yellow Jackets have just 28 touchdown passes in 22 total games as well as 23 interceptions.

It’s going to be hard to win with those numbers. However, having a pass defense that allows 270 yards per game isn’t ideal either. That’s where four-star athlete Jaden Mangham comes in.

Mangham is out of Franklin, Michigan, and the 6-foot-3, 185-pound athlete has been recruited as both a receiver and defensive back. He’s 292nd overall according to the 247 sports composite rankings and Georgia Tech could use him at either spot.

West Virginia is the crystal ball leader right now but Mangham recently visited the Yellow Jackets, who are right in the mix with the Mountaineers, Michigan State, and Illinois.
