Michigan

Frost and Jim Harbaugh have only faced off once in their respective jobs with Michigan football winning big over Nebraska back in 2018.

This time around, depending on how the season goes, this could be a matchup featuring two head coaches with tremendous hot seats. Once again, it’s in Lincoln which is good for the Huskers.

As I said, 6-6 doesn’t really feel like progress. This program should be able to cobble together a 7-5 season and doing that might require beating the Wolverines.

It would give Nebraska some much-needed momentum and if Michigan is ranked or at least up to its usual standard of play under Harbaugh, it would be maybe the best win of Frost’s Nebraska career.

Michigan is talented, but it is young. The Wolverines could be starting a freshman quarterback and even though he’s a five-star, Nebraska could be in a prime spot to take advantage of a Michigan team that’s maybe a year away from being really good.
