Iowa

If there is one game that could Frost could save his job by winning, it’s Iowa. The Hawkeyes and Huskers have developed a true rivalry in the Big Ten West but Iowa has dominated it.

Frost is 0-3 against the Hawkeyes and Kirk Ferentz, but all three games have been close and resulted in painful losses with all three coming by a combined 12 points.

But each time, Iowa has found a way to deliver in the clutch and win the game. This time around, with Nebraska football playing at home that can’t happen again.

Adrian Martinez needs a win over the Hawkeyes as desperately as his head coach and the Huskers have proven they can play with their rival. They just need to finish.

This game is a microcosm for the entire program. There is a lot of unfulfilled potential with Nebraska football and if Frost wants to keep his job, which in my opinion, is the best long-term hope for the program, then he needs a win and he especially needs to beat Iowa.
