Defense that is light on experience hopes to turn things around in 2021

The two spring games that the Aggies played in were treated as opportunities to get as many guys on the field as possible and Aggie fans have to be hoping that is the reason the defense was so terrible in the two games that they played in.

On the defensive line, look for Donavan King and Mike Edwards to man the edges and help turn around the pass rush and on the interior, Justin Segura and Lama Levea have some experience and will be the leaders up front.

These are young guys that have some potential but have not played much. The Aggies lost Devin Richardson, who transferred to Texas at linebacker, which is a big loss for the defense. Joshua Ferguson and Trevor Brohard will look to fill the void that Richardson left.

The secondary is filled with brand new starters at virtually every position. Xavier Hinkle and Daemahni Williams will be manning the outside at the corner spots, while Caleb Mills and Devlin Kirklin will be at the safety spots. This defense is basically brand new and it could be a real struggle to stop anyone this season.
