Alabama begins conference play in Gainsville against the Florida Gators. Head coach Dan Mullen has the Gators as a contender in the SEC East. However, the Gators are replacing Kyle Pitts, Kyle Trask, and Kadarius Toney.

Florida threw the football exclusively and only ran the football as a change of pace. The offensive line had its struggles as well. Considering who they lost, Florida needs to figure out how to replace NFL production on offense.

Defensively, the secondary is going to have a challenge defending the Alabama passing game. The front seven is going to have their issues stopping the Alabama rushing attack. A packed Swamp keeps this one close early, but the Tide pulls away late.

Final score: Alabama 49, Florida 28 (3-0, 1-0 SEC)

The only question about this game is whether or not Frank Gore, Jr. will score a touchdown or not. The Golden Eagles are the inferior opponent, and Alabama should have little problem with the Golden Eagles.

The Alabama Crimson Tide is too much for the Conference USA representatives.

Final score: Alabama 52, Southern Miss 14 (4-0)
