Much like the LSU game, this one is interesting. The Razorbacks come to Tuscaloosa the weekend before the Iron Bowl. Arkansas looks to be much improved in year two under Sam Pittman. Though Nick Saban is all about “the process,” could the Crimson Tide look past the Razorbacks?

The short answer is now. Arkansas would have a better chance to keep this one close, but they are breaking in a new quarterback this fall, with either KJ Jefferson or Malik Hornsby the likely candidates to win the job. The Crimson Tide pounded Arkansas 52-3 last season, and how much better is the Razorbacks’ defense going to be this season?

Alabama big in this one.

Final score: Alabama 56, Arkansas 10 (11-0, 7-0)

Alabama dominated last season’s Iron Bowl 42-13 at home. The result is not going to be much different this season. Auburn is breaking in an entirely new coaching staff with Bryan Harsin coming in from Boise State. The Tigers also suffered heavy attrition via the transfer portal.

Much like Tennessee, Alabama catches Auburn in the midst of a rebuild. As the Crimson Tide march their way toward another trip to the College Football playoff, they roll over the Tigers on the road. No “Prayer at Jordan-Haire” on the Plains this season.

Final score: Alabama 49, Auburn 20 (12-0, 8-0)
