Ah yes, NC State’s superior big brother; and this one is on the road. As a matter of fact, this affair falls right in front of the aforementioned Wolfpack game and will make the transition from one opponent to another even more excruciating.

Now Wake Forest has proven that they can compete with North Carolina, as they had to blow a 21-point lead in the second half to lose by just a single score last season. And that game was also in Chapel Hill.

But that does not make the Heels pushovers in any way. Especially with Wake Forest losing impactful attrition in last April’s NFL Draft, this one will be tough to endure regardless of its eventual outcome.
