Here’s a look at a potential breakout player from each Big 12 football team.

With the transfer portal quieting down and Big 12 media days finished, all ten Big 12 football teams are settling in and gearing up for fall practice.

Plenty of questions have been answered, while others are waiting for week one for their teams to make decisions at key areas.

The conference has been focused on 10 personnel over the past decade. However, last year was the most obvious for a transformation with fullback and two tight end sets becoming more common.

Defense was also much more noticeable, with six teams finishing inside the top 50 in total defense.

There are also an abundance of teams with players that are expected to elevate roles and break out in some ways. Here’s a potential breakout player from each team in the Big 12 football team in 2021.
