For a number of years, fans, media members and sometimes, even the players themselves were confused over the entire selection process for the National Championship game.

More times than not, fans would feel slighted once their team didn’t make the cut. To placate their concerns, the College Football Playoff was formed. Now, fans have a true understanding of whether or not their squad will make it to the final dance. With four teams selected to battle it out for a chance to win the ultimate prize, the College Football Playoff has provided clarity in what used to be murky waters.

While many of the big programs such as Ohio State, Clemson, Alabama, etc, seemingly always earning a spot in the big dance, the College Football Playoff has allowed everyone an equal playing field to make their own run towards a National Championship.
