5 college football teams that do not deserve their stadium sizes
By Austin Lloyd
1. Texas A&M Aggies (Kyle Field)
It can be assumed that whenever someone is asked who has the biggest stadium in the SEC, their mind will begin its course by approaching Alabama, followed by maybe LSU, then probably Florida or Georgia as a last resort.
However, all of those answers are wrong.
Rather, Kyle Field of the Texas A&M Aggies officially has the biggest crowd availability in the entire Southeastern Conference. But one burning question remains: why?
The Aggies have not won a national title since 1939, have a losing all-time bowl record, and are not even the most renowned football program in their state. Yet despite all of that, they have one of the most elite football stadiums America has to offer and have earned it in no way whatsoever.
But A&M does deserve some kudos for how they handle what all has been given to them, regardless of their underachieving history. Being the “Home of the 12th Man” (see picture above), they can hit their visiting opponents with one of the most frightening sceneries in all of college football. And especially with their quality of play as of late, that aforementioned six-figure seat count will not see many spots on the bleachers left vacant anytime soon.
