Will Alabama A&M’s momentum carry over in the fall season?

  • Week 1: South Carolina State (W) — A very entertaining game ending with the Alabama A&M taking the win.
  • Week 2: Bethune-Cookman (W) — This will be the first time these two teams have faced each other since 1979. The Bulldogs with a hard-fought road victory.
  • Week 3: Tuskegee (W) — Tuskegee has not been as good in their last two seasons but they do still pose a threat to get the upset on Alabama A&M.
  • Week 4: Grambling State (W) — Alabama A&M has not beaten the Grambling State Tigers since 2013. They had an opportunity to end the streak in the spring but the game was canceled. The Bulldogs end their losing streak on Grambling’s home field.
  • Week 5: Jackson State (W) — A matchup of teams with lofty expectations and loaded with FBS transfers on its roster. Arguably the most anticipated game in the SWAC season. A&M comes away with the victory.
  • Week 6: Florida A&M (W) — Two tough home games for Alabama A&M back-to-back and they escape with victories in both.
  • Week 7: Alabama State (L) — Alabama State had the best pass defense in the SWAC allowing just 184.8 passing yards per game. However, Aqeel Glass torched them for 372 passing yards scoring three touchdowns. If the Hornets make the proper adjustments, they could pull off the upset
  • Week 8: Mississippi Valley State (W) — One week later, the Bulldogs face Mississippi Valley State who had the worst pass defense in the spring allowing 288.3 passing yards. Expect Aqeel Glass to have a big game in a big win.
  • Week 9: Texas Southern (W) — Texas Southern has lost three straight and four of their last five to Alabama A&M. Don’t expect them to snap the streak in this one.
  • Week 10: University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff (W) — A rematch of the 2020 SWAC Championship game, UAPB is being overlooked coming into this season as they were picked to finish second to last in the SWAC West division. They give the Bulldogs a scare but they are unable to upend their undefeated season.

Final record: 9-1, 8-1 SWAC
