ACC: Clemson Tigers

There really isn’t much explaining to do here, as it is highly unlikely that anyone with a brain has to be walked through the reasons as to why Clemson is the prime candidate to lock down the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Aside from the statistic stating that the Tigers have won the conference title for six seasons straight (so far), merely looking at their competition for the crown should kill any shred of doubt regarding who daddy is.

SEC: Alabama Crimson Tide

Just as obvious as the Clemson take, but not really; at least the SEC is the toughest conference in the land.

Alabama plays in what is quite possibly the strongest division in college football, as the SEC West includes names like Bama, Auburn, LSU, and Texas A&M. However, the Tide have proven that they are easily better than all of those “challengers,” with no attention being paid to how formidable they could/should be.

In 2020, Alabama faced all three of the aforementioned powers. The closest of the battles was versus the Aggies, while still be decided by four scores. My goodness.

The world has expected Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban to hit his peak and then just let his career greatness fade away over time, but he is seemingly doing the exact opposite. Saban is out here aging like a fine wine, as some would argue that 2020 was his best season yet in the coaching game.

Like it or not, the college football phenom that is Alabama appears to not be going anywhere anytime soon; and so, the Crimson Tide should be the go-to when predicting the Southeastern Conference’s eventual victor.

And while we’re at it, let’s just go ahead and pencil them in for the National Champions slot as well.
