player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Baltimore. 2394. Nov. 6. Navy Midshipmen . 11

Navy is one of the other non-power teams to take on Notre Dame football in 2021 and the Midshipmen will play the Irish in Baltimore.

Head coach Ken Niumatalolo has done a spectacular job over the years and it wasn’t that long ago that Navy football won 11 games in a season.

The offense took a big step back last season and the running game struggled. It should get back on track this season but even if it does, it will be hard for Navy to make this a four-quarter game in Early November.

It’s kind of crazy that Purdue and Notre Dame football haven’t played since 2014. But that’s part of the shift to the Irish playing more ACC schools.

At any rate, Notre Dame has won five in a row over the Boilermakers who last won in South Bend back in 2004. However, this Purdue team does have some talent. Wide receiver David Bell is going to be an early-round draft pick and a problem for defenses each week.

So is pass rusher George Karlaftis. The Boilermakers are running a new defense and it should allow Karlaftis to succeed as a 4-3 defensive end. But, the Boilers aren’t sure who their quarterback is and the running game has definite question marks.

Purdue will be in a dog fight for bowl eligibility this year and you can just about bet on it not getting a win in South Bend.
