Ohio State is another team that is breaking in a new quarterback. Yet, when the Buckeyes get a new starting QB, they are choosing between the pick of the litter.

CJ Stroud is expected to be the guy. Master Teague is also there, as well as a pair of potential first-round picks at wide receiver.

Nebraska hung around last season with Ohio State in the first game of the season and the Huskers can keep this competitive too, but unless something wild happens, OSU will win.

Final: Ohio State 38, Nebraska 27 (6-4)

In a strange twist, Nebraska football gets another bye week after back-to-back games against Purdue and Ohio State and the Huskers will be thankful for the rest ahead of Wisconsin.

Many folks expect Wisconsin to be a College Football Playoff contender. Even if the Badgers aren’t quite that good, they should be one of the best teams in the Big Ten West and will likely be playing for a division title at this point in the season.

Playing in Wisconsin has been a nightmarish experience for the Huskers. The Badger offensive line will be stout and Jalen Berger is an outstanding back. This won’t be as bad as some of the other Wisconsin wins over NU, but the margin won’t be single digits.

Final: Wisconsin 34, Nebraska 24
